RF doors are constructed using conductive metals like steel and copper, and are designed to bock or mitigate the transmission of RF (radio frequency) signals in or out of a secure space. These doors are used in secure work environments like SCIF, data centers, aerospace labs, military institutions, and healthcare facilities.
Lockmaster’s SCIF door in a box program is a turn-key, pre-assembled high security door kit built specifically for secure environments including government, military, and corporations with sensitive data and information.

- RF attenuation rating of 60db of 18GHz
- Split frame for easy installation

- UL fire rate for 90 minutes

Lockmasters’ Original Door-in-a-Box (ODIB) Radio Frequency(RF) Door Shielding Performance provides a RF SEdB* greater than 60dB up to 18GHz for microwave when tested per IEEE-299 and MIL-STD 285 test standards.
What is the Purpose of RF Shielding
RF shielding reduces levels of electromagnetic emissions, specifically to protect sensitive information. Electromagnetic emissions include radio waves, gamma-rays, visible light, and all the other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum.
What is a RF Shielded Enclosure?
A RF Shielded Enclosure is a system ccomprised of connected components (doors, windows, electrical, RF filters for signal and power lines and nechanical penetrations for water, HVAC ar vents, and fire protection sprinklers) that when correctly integrated provides a barrier that reduces a RF noise source.
